Every call, every crisis, every life-altering moment has left a mark.
Perhaps you find yourself short-tempered, or maybe it's the silence and withdrawal that speaks volumes.
Sleepless nights, strained relationships, or reaching for a drink or a way to numb a little too often—these aren't just "bad days." These are signals. Those who get healthy don't ignore the signals.
Copper Warrior is your opportunity to turn your toughest moments into strengths, forge a new understanding of yourself, and become the person you know you’re meant to be. It’s about taking control, owning your journey, and finding a life you can be proud of again.
Copper Warrior is a 12-week program designed to help first responders break free from mediocrity, solitude and skepticism and embrace a life they truly love. Copper Warrior provides powerful tools and a proven formula that delivers efficiency and predictable results. This intensive, structured system covers all the key aspects of your current situation—how you got here, where you’d rather be, and, most importantly, how to get there. With four key areas of focus:
Learn practical skills to better manage the physical aspects of stress and trauma.
Get insight into how stress mechanism affects your emotional state and how to better regulate it.
.
Demystify how past influences and current attachments shape your emotional responses and tendencies in relationships.
.
Learn practices and techniques that enhance inner peace, stability, and emotional balance.
how this is different
Copper Warrior is specifically crafted for first responders, active duty military and veterans recognizing that the challenges you face—like high-stress environments, constant exposure to trauma, and the demand for split-second decisions—are unlike those in any other profession.
Unlike programs that focus solely on one aspect of well-being, Copper Warrior adopts a comprehensive approach that covers physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. This holistic perspective ensures that all dimensions of a first responder's life are nurtured, leading to more balanced and sustainable changes.
The program is led by professionals who specialize in trauma and first responder issues. These experts bring a deep understanding of the nuances and complexities involved in such roles, providing insights and strategies that are both practical and transformative.
This structured approach is all about providing thorough and lasting personal development, tackling both the urgent and ongoing challenges that first responders uniquely face in their careers and beyond.
"As First Responders we exist in a different reality than most. I existed in a different world than anyone that loved me. People outside of our culture can’t understand what we struggle with….and I’m happy that they don’t have to. When I met Erin and Cinnamon I found “my people.” Hours of great conversation with these badass women lead to me seeing things the way they really are and not the way my PTSD was making me see them. How was this possible? When you are at your lowest point in life there is nothing more important than having someone that has been there and fought their way through to the other side. Both of these incredible ladies have been where you are and know how to get you through the toughest times of your life. I consider Cinnamon and Erin two people that I trust with my life. As any First Responder knows, that level of trust is earned and not given. These women have earned my trust and respect! I love them both and appreciate them more than they can imagine."

Cinnamon's journey into the realm of trauma and mental health began in 1998 with a transformative experience in Americorp, where she dedicated her efforts to resettling war refugees from Eastern Europe in Washington D.C. as well as Central and South Americans fleeing violence. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of her lifelong commitment to understanding and mitigating the impacts of traumatic events. Her expertise now lies in providing specialized behavioral health services to first responders, including individuals from the fire service, emergency medicine, law enforcement, military, and emergency communication departments across Ohio and the Tristate area.
Having received training in Psychological First-Aid from New York's finest and endorsed by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, Cinnamon employs a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a passionate advocate, her contributions have been recognized by the International Association of Fire Fighters, highlighting her impact within the community.
Cinnamon's commitment extends beyond providing individual support. She offers clinical assistance to first responder peer teams, manages annual wellness programs, delivers training in various departments, and serves as a national speaker, furthering her mission to destigmatize mental health within the first responder community. Her accolades include certification in individual and group critical incident stress management (CISM) from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and peer support certification recognized by the International Association of Fire Fighters. Cinnamon's engagement with first responders began earnestly in 2017 following a line-of-duty death in a local department, which deepened her involvement and dedication to this community. Today, she is the proud owner and operator of Whole House Counseling, a private practice based in Cincinnati, Ohio, dedicated to serving first responders and their families, encapsulating her unwavering dedication to healing and support.
